Two x 12'' Singles by Click Click

Hello my trusted followers, friends, lurkers and anonymous readers. It's still me, AJ, the sexy one with the great boobs, and I'd like to introduce you to this thing that I'm going to continue doing through 2026 at weekends.
Do I really need this introduction??
Are you tired of the same old, same old album posts?! Yea, me too.
So, what I'm going to continue doing is, I'm going to post a Saturday and Sunday special feature for a couple of months/years to try and clear out all the 7", 12", EP's and CD singles that I have blagged from different bloggers over the past few years. I can't remember all of the different bloggers, but I'd bet that the greatest number came from DJ Jef @ myvinyldreams which is ALWAYS worth a visit.
I'm going to post TWO singles every Saturday and every Sunday until I've run out of singles or bands.
Rocket science it ain't, but then, that don't impress you much!

Click Click formed in 1982 by Adrian Smith, and Derek E. Smith, after the end of their previous rock project Those Nervous Surgeons (which formed in 1976 with bassist Tim Wilson). When Wilson bought their first synthesizer, (an EDP Wasp), the direction of the group changed so dramatically, they renamed themselves. Influenced by artists such as Brian Eno, Cabaret Voltaire, The Residents, Frank Zappa, Clive Barker and of course Blade Runner (and "mind-expanding" substances). Click Click continued on with other revolving members down a more electronic path until their eventual break up around 1990. Other members included guitarist Jon Morris, who was replaced by Graham Stronach in 1987, and Pete Hosier who remained with the group until the end.
We catch up with Click Click and “I Rage, I Melt” in ’87 with their first single on the Belgian label Play It Again Sam, ticking off the EBM/Goth crossover that was making European dance floors throb with electronic beats and agonising vocals. The addition of some really sharp guitar into the mix help Click Click step out from under the EBM umbrella, giving them a subtle hint of TSOM’s favourite dark flavour. Nothing wrong with that you say; yet there were so many who were trying to get an audience with the Goth darlings and Electro hardheads in every club, that many were left alone on the dance floor never to be played again. The bonus of angst ridden angry lyrics delivered with emotion, spitting the words out gave “I Rage, I Melt” that extra touch that many contemporaries left behind on the studio floor.
